A Taste of Christmas Event
“I can’t remember the last time I felt so Christmassy” was a comment made by one of our thrilled
visitors. They like many others were enjoying the ambiance of our recently refurbished Church at
Allhallows illuminated with Christmas lights, brightly decorated tables and our festively dressed
volunteers and sellers.
The 3rd of December was a great evening had by one and all.
The event opened at 5pm with the beautiful sounds of Allhallows Primary Academy school choir
singing some exquisitely rehearsed Christmas Carols.
Santa and his Elves was there waiting in the Grotto to welcome younger guests (and older ones too)
and to dish out some early Christmas gifts to those good Boys and Girls.

One of our visitors commented:
“As a Nan, I know my daughter struggles to do a lot of stuff with her family as it always works out
too expensive, but this event was perfect, nothing was too expensive that she and all the family came
along and enjoy it all without it breaking her bank. Thanks to everyone involved in this event. Can’t
wait to come again next year. You are going to do another one next year, aren’t you?”.
Nan (you know who you are) – Yes we most certainly are!
Thanks to all involved and to all who came along and supported this great event, if it wasn’t for
you, these local events just wouldn’t continue to happen!
